Mining Camp Shifts

The WA economy has been fueled by the mining boom over past years with no easing off in sight. New mines are constantly being developed or old mines re-established and this is where Jonesway Transport excels. Jonesway Transport has at one stage or another transported buildings to or from every mine site in WA.

Our tilt semis and tilt trays come into play especially if it is only an exploration or construction camp because they can load and unload their own buildings in a matter of minutes without the use of cranes.

Our specialised low loaders are used to transport oversize steel based or concrete based buildings to and from mine sites. Through the use of a modern hydraulic jacking system we can load, off-load and place the buildings level on footings on the ground in a matter of hours. The buildings can be SPQ’s (single person quarters) or large twenty section bulidings with each section weighting upto 24 tone.
